• Whisperain is based on Turritopsis dohrnii, better known as the immortal jellyfish, which can be seen from her outfit and the long threads on it. Several T. dohrnii are also present in her Elite 2 artwork.
  • Her abilities reflect the jellyfish's ability to revert herself into a state of youth which effectively prevents her from dying from natural causes (i.e. old age).
  • This makes her the first Aegir based on cnidarians.
• As revealed in Arknights Official Artworks, Whisperain's left eye is yellow, making her one of the six characters in Arknights with Heterochromia iridum alongside Archetto, Asbestos, Nightmare, Quartz and Rosa.
