  • Insider has several distinctions:
    • He is the first ever male Marksman Sniper to be released since Rangers and Adnachiel during the start of the game service for over four years. While Stormeye was added later during Integrated Strategies, he is unplayable outside said game mode.
    • He is the third member of the Notarial Hall to join Rhodes Island.
  • In his Operator files there's a saying called fuel-efficient lamp. This is an actual Chinese phrase which means that they're not easy to deal with despite being smart and sophisticated.
  • In his Elite 2 artwork, his gun is shown to be equipped with a silencer.
  • Insider has some jokes in the Arknights community for several distinctions, mainly focusing on his art style:
    • Because his base artwork appears to be as generic as a non-playable NPC character, many are actually surprised to see him become an in-game Operator without being redrawn (like Irene and Ines).
    • His artwork is one of the most contrasting among all Operators, even more contrasting than Conviction who is a mere joke character. As a matter of fact, many joke that he resembles a random or even generic male protagonists in webtoons or manga of the 2000s. He has been compared with characters of similar appearance like Shinichi Kudo or Ritsu Kageyama.
    • Many also sees his halo to be made of a donut, and coincidentally, one of his specialties is actually baking donuts.
    • Funnily enough, his name in Chinese 隐现 (Pinyin: yǐnxiàn) means "to appear indistinctly," making his design at least intentional from naming perspective.
  • In CN and JP server, Insider will be the first operator to receive Rhodes Island Kitchen outfit in 5 years. For EN and KR however, this distinction is held by the KFC collaboration skins that was rebranded as Rhodes Island Kitchen outfits.
