One of the (Emergency) Operations in the 1st floor of Phantom & Crimson Solitaire, Gun Salute is identical in all but name and tileset to Sea of Fire in Ceobe's Fungimist, both of which feature Mortar Gunners (Mortar Gunner Leaders in the Emergency Operation version) that have long range and can deal heavy damage to ranged Operators if left unchecked.
- To deal with Mortar Gunners:
- The best way to prevent them from damaging the backline is to make use of the Aggression mechanic; Deploy Defenders as the last Operator to tank all the hit. If not possible, using Specialists works well too.
- Do note that there must not have any friendly unit around the Operator, otherwise they'll take damage too.
- They have low defensive stats, which means Guards can be used to dispatch them to stop their devastating fire.
