Chiave is a 5★ Pioneer Vanguard who specializes in DP-Recovery and DPS. As a Pioneer Vanguard, Chiave can block two enemies and his ATK is on the higher end among the Pioneer Vanguards, but this comes with a cost of lower HP and DEF.

Talent

Technical Expertise greatly reduces the redeployment time of Support Robots (Castle-3, Friston-3, Justice Knight, Lancet-2, and THRM-EX) — to around the same time as regular Operators — while Chiave is deployed and buffs his ATK and DEF for every Support Robot deployed.

• The shorter redeployment time makes the robots' on-deployment talent much more useful and viable than would otherwise be the case (which is further helped by their dirt-cheap DP cost of only 3), not to mention that the robots' presence also improves Chiave's combat effectiveness.

Skills

1. Similar to other Pioneer Vanguards' first skill, Charge γ automatically generates 12 DP whenever it is charged.
2. Blazing Wire Stripper generates DP and has Chiave unleash a fiery explosion dealing Arts damage to enemies in a radius of 2 tiles to him and reduces their RES for a short time.

Operator Module

The SOL-Y Module, Homemade Jack, reduces Chiave's DP cost by 4 when he is deployed for the first time (and only the first time in an operation) in addition to increasing his ATK and DEF. Once upgraded, Technical Expertise's redeployment time reduction for Support Robots and the ATK/DEF buff for Chiave is increased.

Base skills

Chiave's base skills improve the efficiency of upgrade material processing especially for Device, Integrated Device, and Optimized Device while he is assigned to the Workshop.

1. Inspiration reduces the morale drained when an upgrade material which drains 4 morale is processed by 1 (to 3 morale).
2. DIY Installation increases the byproduct rate of Device, Integrated Device, and Optimized Device processing by 90%.

Summary

Like Texas before him, Chiave is more like an "offensive" Pioneer Vanguard; capable of dishing out high damage while not being able to take much himself, but he can form a great synergy with 1★ Operators by facilitating their rapid deployment that is almost on par with regular Operators.
