• Specter's Chinese codename is translated as "Ghost Shark," which is one of the nicknames for the Chimaera, a deep-sea shark-like fish.
• Two bull sharks (Carcharhinus leucas) can be seen in Specter's Elite 2 artwork; thus, she has the traits of a shark.
  • The Elite 2 artwork of her alternate version also suggests that Specter is also inspired by the extinct Helicoprion, which is noted by her chainsaw that resembles its wheel-like teeth.
• Specter is the only member of the Abyssal Hunters who is an Infected, due to the inhumane experiment on her by the Church of the Deep.
• Specter is the first Operator with two Operator Records that are added in separate updates.
  • Specter is the only Operator who does not appear in her own Operator Record (the first one, Merry Christmas!). As a matter of fact, it brought a lot of discontent and negative reviews in the CN community; the second one (I, Namely I), which follows the events of Under Tides, was treated as a compensation for it.
