Federico Giallo is the son of a couple of civil servants of the Laterano Notarial Hall who unfortunately died in a mission fifteen years ago (Terran year 1084). Luckily, the young boy was then taken in from Marcello and Luciana Giallo, the former of which is his father's cousin, and stayed together with his cousin Arturia for a short while. Nevertheless, his stay left an unforgettable memory in his lifetime as he witnessed the awakening of Arturia's emotional amplification Arts, which led to the unfortunate tragedy of Luciana and, later on, Arturia's downfall. Upon becoming an executor of the Notarial Hall, he swore to himself he would be the only one who apprehends Arturia as his cousin went astray in her quest for the meaning of emotion that eventually led to her quiet collaboration with the Witch King's Remnants.

Federico's robotic personality that contrasts with other Sankta's happy-be-merry attitude makes others weary of him. He can be ruthless on certain occasions as he bases his actions on his cold logic without sympathy. However, it is such personality that the Law deems it worthy of his canonization as a Saint, the most honored title in Laterano akin to a Pope, as his logical reasoning could guarantee the survival of the Sankta race in the upcoming "Apocalypse," and his cold heart could easily counter Arturia's over-amplified emotion. Federico the Saint can be a well-trusted leader in times of grave crises.
