Concept and etymology[edit]
- Asbestos' codename is a reference to the old belief that her namesake silicate mineral is made of salamanders' fireproof skin; she is based on a fire salamander.
Distinctions[edit]
- Asbestos is the first, and currently only Savra to not be based on a reptile.
- Asbestos is one of seven Operators with Heterochromia iridum. The others are Archetto, Bobbing, Nightmare, Quartz, Rosa, and Whisperain.
- She is one of three who hides their heterochromia with an eyepatch, the others being Whisperain and Quartz.
- Asbestos is the first Operator to explicitly use profanity in her dialogues.
