The sixth of the Annihilation operations, Abandoned Mine takes the ever-increasing challenge of Annihilation operations even further, featuring Ursus Imperial Army enemies that can prove to be a challenge for most Doctors. Among their ranks include:

  • Ursus Assault Crossbowmen: Basically the combination of an Airborne Soldier and a Crossbowman with superior stats who can drop themselves behind the frontlines without warning and catch the player off-guard.
  • Ursus Armored Casters: Basically a hostile Caster with surprisingly good defenses unlike other Caster enemies, so they won't go down easily as they inflict heavy damage with friendlies who have low or no RES being the most susceptible.
  • Ursus Raiders: Fast-moving and tough commandos who are counted as two units when blocked, thus using Defenders are a must against them to prevent other enemies from slipping past a defensive line.
  • Imperial Artillery Targeteers: Slow-moving drones who can take heavy punishment unlike other drones as they mark targets for hard-hitting artillery strikes that deals splash damage, which can pose a problem to bunched units.
  • Imperial Strikers: Stormtroopers who can attack in both melee and range, making them a dangerous foe to virtually every unit. The worst part is that the Strikers will have their ATK doubled when their HP falls below 50%, allowing them to break through even the most durable of Operators with ease!
  • Agents also made a guest appearance, whose attack temporarily reduces the victim's block count, which can be problematic if they are facing an Ursus Raider.

As an icing in the cake, there are Ursus Civilians that the player must protect from most enemies who either can use a ranged attack against them or targets Civilians over other friendly units as they make their way into a Protection Objective, and the player must ensure their safety since the Civilians will deduct one Life Point and lowers the enemy defeat count by one when defeated! Furthermore, there are Static Roadblocks present which blocks the path of Civilians and detours enemies until they are destroyed, which have much more HP than in other operations. Heat Pump Passages are also present, which can make things easier if the player arranges their Operators' deployment carefully.
