  • Her English codename is the feminine form of both virtuōsus in Latin and virtuoso in Italian, meaning "righteousness." In English, the word is used to refer to "one who excels in the technique of an art," specifically a talented musician.[1] Her Chinese codename 塑心 (Hanzi: Sù xīn) means something along the lines of "heart-shaper".
  • Her given name, Arturia, could potentially be a reference to Arturo Toscanini, the well-acclaimed Italian conductor who also played the cello, and/or the eponymous electronics company that specializes in audio hardware and software, thus fitting her musical background.
  • Her skill names are referencing three musical pieces:
  • Unlike other antagonist-turned characters (W, Mudrock, etc.) who have reasonable agenda, Virtuosa is a rather controversial one because her story role is mostly negative. As such, the fandom community especially in CN has mixed reception of her release as an in-game Operator.
    • However, Virtuosa's release seems to have destined from the very start. Earlier on, datamined files revealed her proto-typed in-game sprite under the file name "cello" (the instrument she is using) and an incomplete background of her Elite 2 artwork. To further solidify her sign of release, the file was actually there for more than a year since the first anniversary.[2]
  • Virtuosa is the first Operator who had a footnote in her physical examinations, specifically in the Originium Arts Assimilation section.
    • Her first Archive File is also one of the longest of all Operators', with over 6,000 words in the Chinese text which is the average length of an Operator Record.
