Texas is a 5★ Pioneer Vanguard who specializes in DP-Recovery and Crowd-Control. As a Pioneer Vanguard, Texas has high HP and DEF and can block two enemies, with more ATK than other Pioneers at the cost of less HP and DEF.

As of the Fan Appreciation Event, Texas is the reward for completing the eighth phase of pinboard missions, making her very accessible for most players.

Talent

Tactical Delivery increases the initial DP while Texas is in the squad.

  • Tactical Delivery can make all the difference especially with Operators whose Potential is close to or at maximum, as they usually have a lower DP cost, or just to allow the player to deploy high-cost Operators earlier.

Skills

  1. Similar to other Pioneer Vanguards' first skill, Charge γ automatically generates 12 DP whenever it is charged.
  2. Sword Rain generates some DP and has Texas unleash a rain of blades onto enemies in a radius of 2 tiles around her, dealing two instances of Arts damage with each also Stunning the targets for a short time.

Operator Module

The SOL-Y Module, Private Field Supply Package, reduces Texas' DP cost by 4 when she is deployed for the first time (and only the first time in an operation) in addition to increasing her maximum HP, ATK, and DEF. Once upgraded, Tactical Delivery now also increases the damage dealt by Texas' skills (with Sword Rain being the only one with such capability).

Base skills

Interestingly, Texas' base skills reflect her relationship with Exusiai and Lappland, and provides one of the best Trading Post improvements while she is assigned to one together with any of the aforementioned Operators.

  1. Feud increases the order acquisition rate by a whopping 65% and Texas' morale drain rate by 0.3 per hour if Lappland is in the same Trading Post as her.
  2. Tacit Understanding reduces Texas' morale drain rate by 0.3 per hour (enough to counteract Feud's morale drain increase) if Exusiai is in the same Trading Post as her.

Summary

Texas is more of a "glass cannon" Vanguard who is capable of dishing out high damage while not being able to take as much. But her Sword Rain makes this competent courier and combatant a valuable Crowd-Control Operator who can facilitate the rapid deployment of her teammates.
