The third tutorial operation of Arknights, TR-3 gives an insight about flying units and how to take care of them.
Deploy Yato on B6 facing left, followed by Jessica on C6 facing left, Rangers on B3 facing up, and Hibiscus on D6 facing down. After the first three Originium Slugs are killed, a Monster will spawn, prompting Dobermann to note that aerial enemies can only be attacked by ranged Operators. The first Monster will fly into Jessica and Rangers' range, and are quickly shot down, while the remaining Monsters will appear together with the remaining Originium Slugs.
Note that Jessica and Rangers will attack the Monsters over Originium Slugs due to their trait as Rapid-Fire Snipers which makes them prioritize aerial enemies over ground enemies; remember to use this to the player's advantage in operations featuring aerial enemies.
