• Her codename is portmanteau of shaman and the Italian word amare, meaning "to love."
• Her doll's name, Morti, is a derivation of the Italian word morte which means "death."
• The cursed island where Shamare once lived is possibly a reference to the Italian island of Poveglia. The island was once used as a quarantine station and a mental hospital.
• At 138 cm tall, Shamare is the third shortest character in Arknights before Shaw.
• Upon scrutiny, Shamare's outfit design is one of the most revealing, but also the least-obvious.
