The Planting Box Group, known as Portable Planting Trough in Fire Within the Sand, is a Construct in the Reclamation Algorithm game mode of Arknights, which can only be built in the Headquarters.

Planting Box Groups are essential in R.A. as each of those produces Rice — one of the basic ingredients for Provisions and fodder for Energy Drink/Electrolyte Isotonics — in every campaign day, so try to place them out of harm's way. In Tales Within the Sand, Planting Box Groups' productivity will be reduced during the Drought Season, so be on the lookout for climate changes!

The player starts an R.A. campaign with 2 Planting Box Groups/Portable Planting Troughs in their Headquarters. In Tales Within the Sand, the HQ must be upgraded to Level 2 before Planting Box Groups can be built and up to 4 may be built at a time, which increases to 8 and 12 once the HQ is upgraded to Level 3 and 4, respectively. In Fire Within the Sand, the Portable Planting Trough can be built at all times and up to 12 may be built at a time.
