Born in the streets of Élysées from the affluent Gaulish Selis family of bakers as the fourth of five siblings, Mousse the Victorian Feline follows her family's footsteps by becoming an apprentice baker with the knowledge to make various Gaulish desserts, which is starting to become a rare sight in Terra, unlike her siblings who chose different paths. However, Mousse contracted Oripathy under unknown circumstances which causes her left hand to mutate into a clawed one, causing her family to isolate Mousse to protect her from unwanted attention with many "kitties" to keep her company. Later her parents arranged Mousse to be taken into Rhodes Island for further treatment, where she also lend her service as both a baker for the R.I. cafeteria and a combatant making use of her mutated arm to deliver armor-piercing trauma to her foes.

Introduction

Mousse is a 4★ Arts Fighter Guard who specializes in DPS. What defines Mousse as an Arts Fighter Guard is her attacks deal Arts damage, allowing her to easily dispatch enemies with high DEF but little/no RES. Mousse has above-average HP and ATK, average DEF and DP cost, and innate RES (10 initial, 15 at Elite 2).

Talent

Combo gives Mousse's attacks a chance to deliver a second hit; like that of Swordmaster Guards, however, Mousse is still considered to attack once, so if she uses Scratch, she will restore 1 SP as usual.

Skills

  1. Scratch has offensive SP recovery, which makes Mousse's attack deal more damage and temporarily reduces the target's ATK when charged.
  2. Fury buffs Mousse's ATK and DEF while active.

Base skills

  1. Order Distribution β increases Trading Post order acquisition rate by 30% while Mousse is assigned to one.
  2. Baking increases Mousse's morale recovery rate and that of another Operator resting in the same Dormitory as Mousse whose morale isn't full by 0.3 per hour.

Summary

Mousse is a good introduction to Arts Fighter Guards; while most other Guards may struggle against high-DEF enemies, Mousse will be able to easily scratch through their armor like a scythe cutting through grass. When Casters are at a disadvantage (namely their high attack interval), Mousse will prove to be better.
