Matterhorn is a 4★ Protector Defender who specializes in Defense. As a Protector Defender, Matterhorn can block up to three enemies and has high HP and DEF, allowing him to last longer than other Operators, though this comes with the cost of having low ATK and very short range of the tile he was on. Unique among Protector Defenders, Matterhorn has an innate RES of 5, allowing him to withstand a bit of Arts damage.

Snowfield Guard buffs Matterhorn's RES.
Skills
- Stamina Enhancement buffs Matterhorn's HP and gives him HP regeneration while active.
- Cold Resistance buffs Matterhorn's maximum HP, DEF, and RES while active, with the RES buff being the highest and the DEF buff being the lowest.
Operator Module
The PRO-Y Module, Father's Robe, increases Matterhorn's block count to 4 in addition to his maximum HP and DEF. Once upgraded, Snowfield Guard's RES buff is increased.

Summary
Matterhorn is a good Protector Defender who can withstand Arts damage better than other Protectors could. Surely Matterhorn's shield is as firm as the snowy mountain he is named after.
