• She is named after the horse owned by Sigurd, a legendary hero in Germanic mythology.
• As revealed by Alchemaniac in the Arknights Official Artworks Vol.2, Grani's sole inspiration is from mounted police, hence she incorporated much of the police elements onto her design.
  • The most obvious element is her armband with the word policja, "police" in Polish, not only it reflects her duty as a policewoman, but also it links her Kazimierzian heritage.
• Grani's English dialogues are spoken in Received Pronounciation, fitting to her origin as a Victorian-born Kazimierzian.
• In the EN community, there is a joke about her name being mispronounced or misread as "Granny."
• Alchemaniac sets up Grani's face as their current Twitter profile picture.
