Event | Overview | Trivia |
- Due to being around 8 months late than the CN server at launch and around 6 months at present, the Global server released events, particularly those featuring limited headhunting banners, outside their supposed theme by necessity.
- In CN, Celebration events are intended to commemorate anniversaries while Festival and Carnival events are intended to commemorate Chinese New Year and summer, respectively; Global instead releases both Celebration events as an "interim" between the Festival and Carnival events which are released to commemorate Global's half-year and yearly anniversaries, respectively.
- This is because since the 1st Anniversary Celebration, Global's content release pacing allows CN's Summer and Chinese New Year events to be released as Global's yearly and half-year anniversaries in mid January and late July, respectively, and CN's anniversary events to be released in between them (late April and late October) on Global.
- As a consequence, Global reschedules at least one event preceding Carnival events from Dossoles Holiday to be released in February or March so that the Carnival event can be released around Global's yearly anniversary date of January 16.
- Interestingly, the above caused Global to release the summer-themed Carnival events in January, whilst the Northern Hemisphere is in winter which makes the event totally out-of-season. This is not the case for the Southern Hemisphere (especially equatorial countries) however, which is in dry/hot season on January.
- There are three instances where Global does not follow this release pattern, most likely due to external factors and/or internal issues in Yostar's part:
- Darknights Memoir, which was supposedly released in late October/early November 2020 if going by the CN order, is released much later, in early December 2020 just before the 1st Anniversary Celebration because the limited banner pattern is not formalized during this time and it would have been too soon after the Half Year Anniversary (specifically Ancient Forge), forcing Children of Ursus, Twilight of Wolumonde, Contingency Contract Pyrite, and Grani and the Knights' Treasure Rerun that succeeds DM in CN to be released before it in Global.
- Il Siracusano is released in late May 2023; almost one month later than intended, with Snow Upon Autumnal Winds Login Event filling the gap between Episode 11: Return to Mist and IS.
- There is usually a downtime of up to 7 days between event releases (coloquially known as "dead days" or a "dead week") in Global. However, consecutive/back-to-back event releases do occur in Global at times, usually if the succeeding event does not feature new Operators from headhunting.
- If there are more than 7 days of downtime, Global would held a minor, non-intrusive event covering said downtime.
- While CN sometimes have two events overlapping with each other, most notably Contingency Contract seasons since C.C. Deepness which is released in the third week of a Celebration or Carnival event in CN, such never happens in Global with the exception for non-intrusive ones (e.g. login events).
- It is worth noting that event operations are typically designed to the advantage of the Operators introduced by the headhunting banner that runs concurrently with the event. For example, Passenger's ability to chain arts damage to close-by targets would be advantageous against A Walk in the Dust's various drone summoners, as would Heavyrain's ability to heal and provide Camouflage.
