• His codename most likely refers to the Elysian Fields, or Elysium, which is part of the underworld in Greek mythology that is reserved for heroes and those who are chosen by the gods.
• Elysium has the traits of an Arctic tern (Sterna paradisaea). Several of them can be seen in his Elite 2 artwork, as well as one in his Shimmering Dew SDm11 outfit.
  • Arctic terns are famous for their long migrations, by far the longest of any animal, and they cover additional ground due to the meandering, "convoluted" routes they take on their journeys. This reflects Elysium's history as a wanderer who has visited countless places, as well as his reputation for giving confusing directions to others despite having a remarkable sense of direction and a talent for remembering geography.
• In the CN community, Elysium is associated with the Hot Water Kettle. This is because there are 8 boilers in total featured in his Snowy Echo outfit, and in his RIIC animation he gives out the boiler from a present.
• Elysium is nicknamed "Dimas" by the Indonesian community, as a lot of handsome Indonesian actors are named Dimas.
• Elysium's second quote when using a skill, "Who would! Use a flag! As a weapon! On the battlefield!", is often considered to be a mockery of his fellow Standard Bearer Vanguards Myrtle and Saileach by the Global community, as he is the only one not to do so.
