• He is named after Carl Czerny, one of Beethoven's best-known pupils, whose works are widely used in piano teaching.
• Czerny has the traits of an European fallow deer (Dama dama) similar with Viviana with one being present in his Elite 2 artwork.
• Due to his instrument/shield's shape, there are some fan arts where it is replaced with a correction tape.
• Czerny's Japanese voice actor, Hiroki Yasumoto, tweeted that he personally liked his design.
• As with Ebenholz, Czerny's English dialogues are spoken in German accent. A notable distinction however can be heard in his voice intonation where his rage and anger in his battle quotes are far more audible than his Japanese or even Chinese voice, which has been widely lauded by fans.
