- She is named after the genus of the Asian box turtle. The turtle of her namesake can be seen in Cuora's Elite 2 artwork.
- Unlike most other Operators, Cuora calls the Doctor "Sir Rhodes Island".
- The badge on the left sleeve of Cuora's jacket resembles the emblem of Griffin & Kryuger Private Military Contractor, the players' faction in Girls' Frontline.
- Along with Roberta and Vigna, Cuora is the only Columbian Operator who is not native to the country.
- According to Arknights' first CN anniversary livestream, Cuora is ranked first of the five most used 4★ and 3★ Operators in the game with the others being Melantha (2nd), Gitano (3rd), Jessica (4th), and Vigna (5th).
- Based on her spoken lines in Japanese, she can be inferred to as a Bokukko or a girl who uses male pronouns to refer to herself. This implies a boyish girl, and is a common trope in AGCN media.
- The battle cries she shouts, ORA ORA and MUDA MUDA, are made popular by the manga/anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Beehunter also shouts ORA ORA in her battle quotes, though this is transcribed in Russian.
- Perhaps attesting strongly to the reference is the fact these battle cries are carried over as is in her English dialogues, whereas other languages use their own native equivalents.
