• Before Chestnut is released, Ansel was the only male Medic in Arknights.
• He may be named after Dr. Howard C. Ansel, the author of Ansel's Pharmaceutical Dosage Forms and Drug Delivery Systems.
• From the shape of his ears, Ansel appears to have the traits of a lop-eared rabbit.
• Many Arknights players initially believe that Ansel is a female due to his rather androgynous appearance and the fact that his voice actors are women. This misunderstanding has become a meme within the Arknights community and makes Ansel popular among the players.
• Ansel lands face-first when deployed, similar to Pramanix and Warfarin. This does not happen however, if he is equipped with a different outfit other than his original.
