The final combat operation of Episode 09, 9-19, titled Gunfire in the Night, forces the player to face against a small army of Dublinn and the commander Mandragora, who proves to be quite a challenge largely due to her significant HP, powerful Arts attacks backed up by her decent attack interval, in addition to reducing incoming both Physical and Arts punishment with Stoneshield that can only be temporarily disabled with Tattered Pillars with correct timing required. Not only that, Mandragora will gain Low-Altitude Hovering (which cannot be disabled thanks to her immunity to all disabling effects) and surround herself with stoney shards which continuously damage anyone surrounding her on her second phase, and her attacks will become ranged which allows her to target Operators on both melee and ranged tiles, as well as causing a Tattered Pillar to fall onto an operator within its range, making it a harder achievement to take the commander down.

Mandragora is also accompanied by a bunch of both melee and ranged cannon fodders (Dublinn Scouts, Snipers, Hounds, and some Flying Soldiers and Shadowcasters), and some troublesome bulky enemies, namely Dublinn Heavy Defenders and Tombkeeper Grotesques. All except Flying Soldiers are protected with Refraction which gives them 70 RES unless Silenced, making Arts damage significantly less effective. While the cannon fodders aren't too much of a trouble, note that they appear in relatively large numbers, while the Heavy Defenders and Tombkeepers Grotesques can withstand both Physical and Arts damage thanks to their high HP and significant defenses, and the Grotesques can turn into a flying enemy when defeated for the first time (unless struck by a Tattered Pillar), and will use a ranged Arts attack.
