• His name is a reference to Thermex, a type of seismic explosive compound.
• When he was first introduced in the CN server, THRM-EX lacked any voiced dialogue whatsoever. His voice lines, provided by Hikaru Midorikawa, were added in a later update. This is not the case in the global server, however.
• Excluding most Medics and Bard Supporters, THRM-EX is the only Operator incapable of attacking.
• THRM-EX is classified as an Executioner Specialist, despite the fact that his status as a robot is inherently incompatible with the traits of the class: their ability to be redeployed much faster than other operators. Robots, instead, have a significantly longer redeployment timer.
• THRM-EX is the unit with the highest base RES, having a staggering 50 RES, although this is unlikely to be of much practical use to tank Arts damage, as he has low HP and self-destructs after 3 seconds.
