Trivia

• Her name literally means "white snow" in Japanese, which also refers to the titular character of Snow White.
• Shirayuki has the traits of a stoat (Mustela erminea), or an ermine (a stoat with winter coat). An ermine is present in her Elite 2 artwork.
• Her use of a giant shuriken suggests that Shirayuki likely alludes to Kamaitachi, a weasel-like yokai that is associated with cutting wind.
• Before the update for Dossoles Holiday in the Global server, her name was rendered as "ShiraYuki" in her Archive files and other sources.

  Shirayuki's base art during Arknights' beta version
  During the beta version of Arknights, Shirayuki had a rather different design that had notably more exposed clothing than the current base art (see her gallery). A possible Elite 2 illustration for Shirayuki's beta design has been located on her artist's DeviantArt account.
• In the CN community, ShiraYuki is an icon for Rua Niu (Hypergryph's game designer). This is because during the 1st anniversary livestream, he mentioned that ShiraYuki is his most frequently used Operator. This joke became more popular after Hai Mao cosplayed Andreana.
• Shirayuki, along with Rosmontis, is one of the few Snipers in Arknights who does not wield a firearm (or any pseudo-firearm-esque weapons that launch projectiles) or a (cross)bow as their main weapon. In her case, she wields a large shuriken as her weapon. She was also the only Artilleryman Sniper who doesn't use explosive or firearms based weapons for over 3 years until Jieyun was announced.
