• Her codename is based on the eponymous strong alcohol that is made of wormwood (Artemisia absinthium).
  • Interestingly, Chernobyl, the reference for Chernobog, actually means "wormwood" in Ukrainian.
• Her real name, Zoya, is likely derived from the Soviet partisan Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya who was killed for refusal of surrender, which is similar to how her father did when facing the mob in the Peterheim Middle School.
