• Windflit has the traits of a Border Collie, more specifically, the artist's own dog. Said dog appears with yellow goggles in his Elite 2 artwork.
• Windflit was in the works for longer than intended due to the perceived similarities between his Elite 2 artwork and that of La Pluma; his release was stalled until a new, less reminiscent Elite 2 artwork was approved.
• He has the distinction of being the first 5★ male Supporter operator to be released.
