• Her codename is named after a variant of andradite with black color.
• Melanite's animal motif might be based on the cottonmouth snake (Agkistrodon piscivorus). Her tail's scale color resembles the scales of cottonmouth snake.
• Melanite is the sole member of Heavyshooter Sniper subclass who doesn't wield a crossbow, instead she wields a railgun.
• Melanite's artist, Redjuice, posted a 3D model of her railgun on his Patreon. According to himself, the 3D model has much more details than the one in her hands by creating the side view on the gun on Photoshop first, then a low-poly 3D model, and finally pasting the texture on it.
