The third of the Annihilation operations and one of the three Permanent Missions after the Annihilation Rotation System is introduced, Lungmen Downtown is known for being the most difficult Annihilation operation prior to the Rotation System's introduction, particularly due to the presence of obscenely powerful hostiles like Arts Masters and Defense Crushers, not to mention that seven Turrets will be periodically activated as the operation progresses to further wreak havoc on the frontline. The last wave is especially terrifying, featuring a row of Defense Crushers, then a row of Spec Ops Caster Leaders, and finally a row of Arts Master A2s at the 350 kill mark; as such, it is recommended to wait until the player has a sizable squad of Elite 2 operators before attempting to clear Lungmen Downtown with 400 kills, as this stage is much more difficult than the previous 2 permanent Annihilations.
