Increases the minimum and maximum cap of rewards given by Expeditions from Deserted Towns as follows:

• Arakeeshtu Jungle: +3
• Narutabatim Alkalies: Min. +1 , max. +3
• Eqlumuy Oasis: Min. +1 , max. +3

How to obtain

Excavation Essentials is obtained after triggering the story upon entering Riverbed of Suffering for the first time as part of the "Warrior of Freedom" questline.

After obtaining Excavation Essentials, Kestrel will be present in the Base Camp from the next day and provides exploration tips when talked to.
