• He is named after a sacred stag that inhabits Valhalla in Norse mythology.
• The hammer he holds resembles the famous Mjölnir.
• He is the third enemy to be only vulnerable to Levitate, after Lucian, "Blood Diamond" and the Playwright.
• In operation "Sami's Entropy" (i.e. the boss fight against Eikthyrnir), the word "entropy" in Chinese (熵) is pronounced the same way as "殇", which literally means "premature death". This may imply the tragedy he endures.
