  • The Deathless Black Snake might be based from Koschei the Deathless, a character from Russian mythology who cannot be killed by conventional means.
    • The names of their avatar, Kashchey and Koshelna, are both derived from Koschei.
    • In one of Koschei's legends, "The Snake Princess" (Russian: Царевна-змея), he turned a princess into a snake after she refused to marry him. This likely explains the name "Deathless Black Snake" and his relationship with Talulah.
  • Alternatively, the Deathless Black Snake may be based on the Ouroboros, a symbol depicting a snake eating its own tail which is often associated with eternity, rebirth, and endless cycles.
  • The Deathless Black Snake has the traits of a banded krait (Bungarus fasciatus), which can be seen from his tail, which has blunt tip and triangular cross body section.
    • Banded krait is known to have several color variation, including black-and-white.
  • According to Arknights CN's 2nd Anniversary livestream, 678,371 players had, as of then, defeated the Deathless Black Snake in JT8-3.
