The Anniversary Wheel of Fortune is a furniture in Arknights.
Description
Used in the dorm to improve the ambience.
The wheel commemorates the third anniversary of the release of Arknights. The pointer falls, and fortune shall follow, so you must know where it will land.
How to obtain[edit]
It can be obtained on day 1 of the Welcome to the Underground Login Event during Ideal City.
Trivia[edit]
This furniture is a reference to the "ALL" or "Lowlight's God Hand" meme involving Hai Mao, which originated from the following events:
- During Arknights CN's 1st anniversary livestream, the hosts made Wheels of Fortune to decide what free rewards would be given to players – one for the items and one for multiplying the rewards. When the reward wheel did not land on "ALL," Hai Mao pushed the wheel to "ALL."
- In Arknights CN's 2nd anniversary livestream, the Wheels of Fortune was used again. On the first try, the wheel very fortunately landed on "ALL;" in the second, it didn't, but Hai Mao pushed it to "ALL;" in the third, again it didn't, but Hai Mao placed a paper with "ALL" written on it where the wheel landed.
- In Arknights CN's 2.5th anniversary livestream, Hai Mao used similar "ALL" paper as in the 2nd anniversary livestream. Still, the hosts swapped the wheel of fortune with gachapon machines.
- In Arknights CN's 3rd anniversary livestream (where the Anniversary Wheel of Fortune was introduced), handmade drawing boxes are featured instead of the Wheels of Fortune. Hai Mao drew out "ALL" in the first two tries, and even "ALL" and "×2" (from the reward and multiplier boxes, respectively) in the final try.
- In Arknights CN's 3.5th anniversary livestream, reward cards, and multiplier dice were featured in place of the Wheels of Fortune to fit with the theme of Il Siracusano. On the first try, Hai Mao took away the dice in his left hand and threw out a dice with "ALL" on every side, hidden in his right hand. On the third try, Hai Mao never touched the dice, but it was juggled so that it landed on the "ALL" side before the hosts (Da Huang and Hei Qiao) realized.
