Trivia

• Tomimi has the traits of a false gharial (Tomistoma schegelii), with one being present in her Elite 2 artwork. Her name also refers to its scientific name.
• The staff she is carrying is based on the dreamcatcher (Ojibwe: asabikeshiinh), a kind of handicraft made by the Ojibwe people of North America to ward off bad dreams.
• Tomimi's thick tail being joked about in the event is a recurring meme in the community.
• In the Global release of Dossoles Holiday, Tomimi's Silent Night DN04 outfit can be viewed in her outfit list despite not being released yet. This is because DH was released before the rerun of The Great Chief Returns, which is the opposite in the CN server.
• Due to an oversight, even if Tomimi was obtained during the rerun of the said event, the player would not get the medal "Tomimi's Respect." The bug was fixed during scheduled maintenance on February 17, 2022.
• The English name of Tomimi's Paradox Simulation, "Twotail Kombat", is meant as a reference to Mortal Kombat.
• Her name Tomimi may derive from the Nahuatl word tomi, meaning "[for something] to come open, to come loose". Tomi also appears in words such as ciotomi ("to come undone"), ihtomi ("to become untied"), īxtomi ("to become untangled").
