I feel like the notion of restoring the old Draco monarchy and the slogan "The one who sets the sun" could be seen as direct pointers towards the Hanoverian monarchy, in addition the Kazdel Commission very much reminds me of the Imperial German attempts to cause an Irish rebellion during the first worldwar, this might be echoed further in the story but it could have been a possible real world inspiration that ties Kazdel and Dublinn together.
