• His name is a diminutive form of szewc, which means "shoemaker" or "cobbler" in Polish. Hence, szewczyk means "young shoemaker/cobbler" or "shoemaker's/cobbler's son".
• His title in Japanese is written as "Synthetic Resin Knight" while its furigana is still "Plastic." This is based on the fact that synthetic resin is commonly used in plastic production such as PVCs.
