The Reading Desk is a furniture in Arknights. It is part of the Laterano Notarial Hall Lounge theme.

Description

Used in the dorm to improve the ambience.

Designed to make it easier for an executor to read while resting. Simple, compact, and gives off a sense of tradition.
At some point, someone swapped out the copy of the religious classic, "The Saints' Travels", with a copy of "The Centameron".

Acquisition

The Reading Desk can only be obtained during Guide Ahead and its Rerun, where it is available at the Lateranian Desserts for 40 Etched Bullet Casing.

Trivia

• The second book might be a reference to "The Decameron": a collection of 100 stories by 14th-century Italian author Giovanni Boccaccio, narrated throughout ten days.
  • Indeed, "Centameron" means "one hundred days": from Latin centum ("one hundred") and Greek ἡμέρα, hēméra ("day").
