- Raythean is most likely derived from Raytheon, an American defense contractor that, like Raythean, primarily engages in weapons manufacturing.
- Raythean's name in the Archives of older characters upon the initial release of Arknights was written as "Thor Industrial." This is because it was directly translated from its Chinese name which could also refer to the Nordic god of thunder.
- Later updates changed tha name in the Archives back to the more appropriate "Raythean."
