- In the story, his name means "key" in ancient Sarkaz. Qalid'čoa is a portmanteau of two Semitic words: qlida (קְלִידָא), Aramaic word for "key,"[1][2] and tshu'a (תְּשׁוּעָה), "salvation, redemption" in Hebrew[3][4] or tshu'ha (תּוּשְׁהֶה), meaning "to linger."[5] Hence, his name has the meaning of "Key of Salvation" or "the Lingering Key."
