Enemy | Trivia |
- Their name is likely a portmanteau of a pun between "hairy" and hari, (Kanji: 針; Hiragana: はり) the Japanese word for "needle," and "beast."
- Like most other enemies introduced in A Flurry to the Flame, the Haribeast resembles a monster in Monster Hunter. In the Haribeast's case, it loosely resembles a quadruped, terrestrial version of Nergigante.
- The elite version of the Haribeast being the Rainer Haribeast likely references Ruiner Nergigante, a mature variant of Nergigante in Monster Hunter.
