• Firewhistle has the traits of a whistling kite (Haliastur sphenurus) with its genus name can be seen on her crop top and shoe, and her subfamily name, Milvinae, can be seen on her name card. A fiery silhouette of the bird in question is present in the artwork as well.
  • The word "vieillot" is engraved on her shield which refers to Louis Jean Pierre Vieillot, a French ornithologist who proposed the whistling kite's binomial name.
  • Whistling kites are one of the three infamous "firehawks" that help spread worsening bushfires to flush out their preys, fitting her fiery background and her penchant for arson.
• Her real name, Agni, is likely taken from the two-faced god of fire in Hinduism. Her kind-hearted yet fiery personality is most likely a reference to Agni's dual nature which represented his beneficial and destructive effects.
• Firewhistle is sometimes jokingly called "小咪 (Xiao Mi)", a cute nickname resembling kitten meowing in the CN community, because the upper part of her Chinese name (火哨) is similar to the upper part of 小咪, and at times the game UI covers her name partially.
