- The organization is named after the Biblical Tower of Babel. Somehow, Babel's story is quite similar to that in the Bible:
- Both were meant to unite people of different nationalities (in Arknights' case, races) for a common goal.
- Both somehow faced dissolvement. For the Biblical story, it is because of God's intervention.
- Both were doing an act that can be treated as "evil," though for the organization's case, it was because of a political reason.
- Prior to Episode 14, Babel was the only faction that consists of only a single Operator affiliated with it.
