KR letter controversy

As per Arknights Terra Wiki's policies, please refrain from digging up matters surrounding this issue further as to avoid further exposure towards certain views which are considered taboo or sensitive in certain countries.

In the KR server, there was an offline interaction prior to Arknights KR's 3rd anniversary livestream featuring fanletter submission on Naver Cafe, and those that were chosen that will be read out during the livestream on January 7, 2023. However, among the selected letter, there was one particular letter that arouse serious controversy. It was actually written by a troll from the obnoxious, far-right extremist community Ilbe Storehouse, and the content was a mockery of the late president Roh Moo-hyun. The incident aroused severe criticism among the Korean players with some even decided to quit the game as boycott. Some even suspected that Yostar had staffs that were users of said community.

Following the livestream, Yostar Korea published an official apology letter. They stated that there was a lack of moderators during the inspection, and they have no connection with the said forum. While promising to improve their content moderations and inspections in the future, Yostar also decided to cancel the event due to the said controversy. The Korean livestream was later re-uploaded with the controversial part being removed.
