It Cannot Get Any Better Than This! Terra Investment Masterclass or simply Terra Investment Masterclass (IM) is an April Fools mini-game in Arknights.
Overview[edit]
| “ | Ordinary people wait for opportunities. Successful people create them. No one is born successful, but anyone can learn the secret to success. What you need is not divine favor, but the guidance of a good teacher. Legendary master Cannot's Terra Investment Masterclass will show you the best strats to success. | ” |
Another break from the usual Arknights' tower defense gameplay, our good ol' friend Cannot Goodenough invites us to attend his specially prepared "Terra Investment Masterclass" so that we can be good enough (no pun intended) in Integrated Strategies! The gameplay is similar to Totally Accurate Battle Simulator where two armies of enemies are pitted against each other to see who is the best among them, but the player also needs to choose which side is going to win, hence why it is called an "investment" (even though it is more appropriate to be considered gambling).
To start with, the player just need to click on the picture on the bottom-right of the IM menu to enter the battle. The player will then be taken to an operation where unique to this one, enemies will attack and can block each other, and are divided into two sides: Red (the column of Incursion Points) and Blue (the column of Protection Objectives), down to their HP meter. To prevent battles from going on for too long, all enemies have -50% HP and +50% ATK, meaning they deal more damage but can't take as much as they would normally.
The battle is divided into several rounds with differing enemy lineup each. In each round, the player need to choose which side they are investing, and choose how much Originium Ingots they want to invest equal to a portion of their current balance as follows.
- Pocket Money: 10%
- Skip a Meal: 30%
- Sell the House: 60%
Once the player confirms their investment by clicking the "Bear Witness!" button, the round starts and both sides duke it out with each other. The round ends when either side lost all of its members; if the side the player invested in wins, they will receive more Ingots than the invested amount, otherwise they will lose twice the invested Ingots. In case of a tie, both sides are considered to have won the round. Should the player's Ingots drops to 0, they will fail the battle and had to start over.
The amount of Ingots received upon winning a round increases with consecutive victories, which is always rounded up to the closest decimal number (e.g. 99.09 is rounded to 100).

| 6–7 | 5.55× |
| 8 | 6.18× |

When a battle ends, Cannot will give a remark based on the amount of Ingots the player has obtained, with the highest possible being a grand 999,999,999
