Such is the Joy of Our Reunion is the thirty-fourth Side Story and sixth Festival event in Arknights, and the seventh event in the Through the Ages story arc.

The sixth Festival limited headhunting banner, An Eternity Aflame, is featured.
- An Eternity Aflame also removes Dusk from the secondary rate-up Festival limited Operators.

A Pleasant Banquet Headhunting Permit can be claimed while An Eternity Aflame is up. - Every day, the player can perform one headhunting pull for free at An Eternity Aflame banner. These free pulls do not transfer over to the next day, so they must be used before the daily reset.
- The amount of Headhunting Data Contracts needed to buy Nian in the Headhunting Data Contract Store is reduced to 200.

- Pulls from all three Headhunting Permits listed above are not counted towards the pity system for other banners and getting a 6★ Operator from them will not reset the pull count, so using them will not compromise the player's pity on other banners.

Special Login Event[edit]
From July 17, 2025 20:00 UTC-7 to 24:00 UTC-7, the player will receive in-game mails from various Operators with an assortment of rewards.
Lungmen Lucky Strips[edit]
From July 17, 2025 to July 31, 2025, the player will be able to pick two out of ten Lungmen Lucky Strips every day, which gives 
Orundum with the highest among the picked Lucky Strips being the reward (e.g. if the first Lucky Strip gives 400 
and the second gives 800 , then the player will receive the latter).
- The possible Orundum values in each Lucky Strip are 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, and 800.
- If the player receives less than 400 from the Lucky Strips, they will be able to pick a third Lucky Strip in the next day.
- All unused Lucky Strip picks do not stack, so they must be used before the daily reset.

Trivia[edit]
- Such is the Joy of Our Reunion is released in the CN server less than a week apart from other events featuring a limited headhunting banner in other Arknights servers; Adventure That Cannot Wait for the Sun was released in the Global server on January 16 (6 days apart) while Here A People Sows was released in the TW server on January 20 (2 days apart).
- The Global release of OR as the 5.5th anniversary event is exactly 6 months apart from AS (which is Global's 5th anniversary event) in January 16, 2025.
- The limited headhunting banner of Such is the Joy of Our Reunion marks the first instance that a limited non-alternate Operator and a non-limited alternate Operator are featured.
- The event's Chinese title 相见欢 (Xiāng jiàn huān) is the title of a cipai (a variant of formation) of the ci, a style of ancient Chinese poetry prominent since 9th century CE. Some of the most famous works under this cipai were likely written by Li Yu, the last Emperor of the Southern Tang Dynasty who lived in the 10th century CE. The poem itself talked about how sad a separation is, which is the exact opposite emotion of what a typical cipai looks like.[1]
- The cipai was also made famous by the late Teresa Teng who included a song about one of his poems in her 1983 album, Light Exquisite Feeling (淡淡幽情; dàndàn yōuqíng).
- Its English title likely symbolizes how people will reunite with their loved ones especially with their family during Lunar New Year celebration especially in China.
- The names of Flavor of Food's stages are various dishes from Northern China.
- Such is the Joy of Our Reunion is the first Side Story event where existing Operators don't receive their English CVs.
