Move is a skill mechanic in Arknights, introduced in Path of Life.

Overview[edit]

Cannot leave the field; will deploy at the target location with the current HP.

Move causes the unit to be redeployed on another position in which they retain their HP and does not cause their DP cost to ramp up (with the side effect of the Moved unit becoming the last deployed friendly unit) but clears all Elemental Injury on them, making it appear as if the unit is actually "moved" and the first way to relocate a unit without manually redeploying them.[note 1]

Unless noted otherwise, Moved units do not retain buffs and debuffs they had prior to being Moved, but if the unit has a skill that is triggered upon deployment, it will be triggered again when the unit is Moved.

When activated, Moves Ulpianus to the tile where the thrown anchor lands (or the tile behind it if he cannot be normally deployed there) and returns him to his original position when the skill expires. Ulpianus retains the stack count of Nourish the Blood while Moved this way.

Stratagem: Meltdown
When activated, Moves Mon3tr to the position of the Reconstruction and returns her to her original position when the skill expires or lethal damage is taken.

Note[edit]

  1. The game checks whether the position where the unit would be Moved is deployable when the Move effect starts. If so, the unit is retreated and the game attempts to deploy the unit there; if the Moved position somehow becomes undeployable before the unit is retreated (e.g. sealed by FrostNova), the Move effect will fail to trigger, but if the unit's original position becomes undeployable, the unit will be instantly defeated.
