Concept[edit]

  • The Decadenza's Elite 2 skin contains various references to short poems by Friedrich Nietzsche and dialogues from Latin plays involving wolves.
    • The top and bottom right corner contains the following passage from Nietzsche's Ecce Homo:
Ja! Ich weiß, woher ich stamme!
      Ungesättigt gleich der Flamme
      Glühe und verzehr’ ich mich.
Licht wird alles, was ich fasse,
      Kohle alles, was ich lasse:
      Flamme bin ich sicherlich.
      • Interestingly, Nietzsche also popularized a concept called Apollonian and Dionysian which represented by a duality between the figures of Apollo and Dionysus from Greek mythology in his work The Birth of Tragedy. Here, the Decadenza most likely represents Dionysus as he is the god of wine-making, festival and chaos, much like of the Saluzzoes' family winery, the Decadenza's festive attire, and her bringing chaos to wherever she goes.
    • The upper-left corner contains the following passage from Phormio:
Auribus teneo lupum, nam neque quomodo a me amittam invenio neque uti retineam scio.
    • The upper-left corner also contains the following passage from Adelphoe:
      Em tíbí autem!
      Quidnamst?
      Lupus in fabula.
    • The bottom-left corner contains the following passage from Stichus:
Atque eccum tibi lupum in sermone
  • The number "1911" can be seen under the wax seal on the Decadenza's Elite 2 skin.

Distinctions[edit]

  • Along with Kjera, the Decadenza is one of the two Mech-Accord Caster who does not wield a staff; she instead dual-wields a sword whose handles can be joined into one, making it some sort of what one would call a double-bladed saber.
  • The Decadenza is the second Operator who is also the main boss of the event she is introduced, after Harold. (While Dusk appears in the final stage of her debut event, she does not contribute to the battle, and the actual boss to fight is her creation, Free.)
  • The Decadenza's outfit Unruly Humbleness is the first occasion where 2 separate illustrators are credited together for the artwork, in this case Huanxiang Heitu is credited alongside Mag42.
