Fabrizio Venezia is an NPC in Arknights. He is a supporting character in I Portatori dei Velluti.
Background[edit]
Fabrizio is the head of Famiglia Venezia, which has just recently relocated from Montelupe to Nuova Volsinii. His actions give his family a unique "notoriety" in the Grey Hall due to their racially diverse members, with an emphasis on their motto of "decency." As a matter of fact, Fabrizio is known to have incorporated non-Lupo members in the upper echelon of his famiglia —including Perros and Vulpos— and is willing to welcome them as long as they have ideas.[1] He's fond of his two adoptive heirs; Ingrid, whom she adopted after losing her parents amidst a gang brawl, and Antonio, a former True Bolívarians soldier who went AWOL while retreating from the Singas' forces.[2][3]He is also incredibly fond of Ingrid's daughter, Lisa.
Fabrizio personally raised and deemed Ingrid as his most trustworthy subject, and it's said that he cared more for her than his biological daughter, Bella. That was until the Year 1094, in the city of Terni, when the Venezias, who expanded their trucking company's operations to the city, clashed with their rivals, the Tancredis, who attempted to seize over the local alloy deposits. Despite the two famiglie arranging a truce after Signora personally showed off in person, Ingrid still carried out her attack against the Tancredis before suddenly vanishing from the radar. Last year, Bella, who was sick since at least her childhood, and passed away, which dealt a heavy blow to him.[4][5] Nevertheless, Fabrizio has never forgotten Ingrid and still holds great respect towards her.

After hearing that Antonio had wrongfully imprisoned the grandson of the famiglia's former assassin, Umberto de Montano, Fabrizio personally apologised to him about the misunderstanding and allowed him to leave unharmed.[6] This brought great ire to Antonio and the two get into an argument afterwards.[2] Fabrizio was getting concerned with Antonio's increasingly erratic behaviour, but it was not until the latter forcibly usurped the don's seat from him did he realize how deranged Antonio had become.[3]
Fabrizio was forcibly imprisoned in his own manor, but somehow managed to escape, either by force or diplomatic means. He then personally authorized the assassination of Antonio. Although Ingrid had mortally injured Anton, Fabrizio's designated hitman dealt the final blow. He calls Antonio's death a kindness, stating that he is now with Bella.[7] Afterwards, Fabrizio took control of Venezia Trucking Co., rooting out anyone who was closely associated with Antonio and reporting them to city hall as a show of good faith.[8]
After hearing that Ingrid has since left for Rhodes Island, Fabrizio sent a correspondence letter offering to sponsor their Oripathy research under the name of Venezia Trucking. Unfortunately, his offer was declined, presumably because Rhodes Island wants to avoid affiliating too closely with any of the Siracusan famiglie.[9]
