- All players must use their own account in Global (EN) server and can understand English, the sole language used for the Bingo Boards.
- Players living in countries which have their own servers — namely China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan / Hong Kong / Macau — are eligible to participate, as long as they use their own Global server account and can communicate in English.
- All players must submit the following to a Google Forms link posted by Lungmen Dragons:

- Submissions must achieve an ending.
- Submissions must play on Surging Waves 0 or higher.
- Submissions must clear at least eleven regular or Emergency Operations. ISW-SP, ISW-DU, and Dreadful Foe (Boss) operations do NOT count.
- Submissions must clear three tiles that form a row, column, or diagonal in the given 3x3 board of special conditions. There are 8 possible categories.

- The following Operators are BANNED during the qualifiers: Goldenglow, Kirin R Yato, Młynar, Texas the Omertosa
- At the end of qualifiers, the 8 fastest players from each category will qualify for the Main Event.
- This time is based on the expedition result screen, which is measured in real-time, including the time spent navigating in Floors, arranging Squads, and loading the levels.

- Gameplay rules
An example of a bingo board (Disclaimer: the wording used in this image does NOT necessarily reflect the actual boards used by Lungmen Dragons)
- Matches are conducted on the Lungmen Dragons Discord server, while the Bingo Board for each game is conducted inside a private room on Bingosync.
- To win a game, a player must score more points than their opponent by completing a specific objective written on each tile, thus claiming it for themselves.
- Each match is presided by a referee (or referees) who will actually perform the act of shading the tiles on Bingosync. Thus, players cannot shade the tiles themselves; they must declare to the referee(s) that they have completed a tile or are intending to complete a tile soon, so that the referee(s) may verify their claim.
- Each tile claimed gives 1 points.
- Lockout: if a player claims a tile, their opponents cannot claim that tile anymore.
- Some tiles are specially labelled, like giving 2 or more points, subtracting points, "stealable" (completing the objective overwrites their opponent's claim), only giving points when the time limit ends, and allowing a tile to be claimed by both players.
- In the semi-finals and Grand Final, viewers may vote on which particular tile shall be used for the broadcasted matches.
- Each game varies in length depending on round.
- Last 64 until Quarter-finals last for 20 minutes
- Semi-finals last for 40 minutes
- In the Grand Final, Games 1 & 2 last 30 minutes, while Game 3 lasts 45 minutes.
- Sudden death overtime: If the game is still tied in points when time expires, it goes into overtime; the first player to claim a tile during this period instantly wins.
- All players must play on the difficulty level Surging Waves 4.
- Investing or withdrawing Originium Ingots is NOT allowed.
- Intentionally quitting and restarting a run is permitted. Depending on the situation, it may even be encouraged, or outright required.
