The Kjeragian Ursus from the Paleroches' territory, Lara had been dreaming of exploring the outside world, despite the Paleroches' traditionalist attitude. With sponsorship from Enciodes Silverash and his corporation Karlan Trade, she was able to study in Columbia and became an arctic explorer. However, a blizzard that almost wiped out her team led to Lara contracting Oripathy and seeking medical aid from Rhodes Island under an arrangement with Karlan Trade. As "Aurora," she has since become part of an R.I. squad under Sharp's command, utilizing her survival skills to aid her teammates. R.I. also recommended she team up with Magallan in her upcoming expedition of the Northlands.
When Enciodes invited the Doctor to Kjerag, Aurora was appointed by Dobermann to be the Doctor's bodyguard alongside Sharp due to her familiarity with the land. While she meant to use this journey to visit her family, Aurora would soon be dragged into the political affairs leading to the Snowcap Incident, having to work alongside Sharp to stop the conflict from escalating into civil war.
In Arknights: Endfield which takes place in the future, presumably after her death, a "clone" of Aurora created using her information within the Assimilated Universe returned as one of the playable characters under the name Snowshine.
